Bellingrath Lakes:

The Bellingrath project was interesting in that the homeowner was the general contractor for his new home, as well as the contractor for the construction of his grandparents’ new home in the same neighborhood.  As you view the different Bellingrath galleries, you will see the difference between the styles and preferences of the two homes.

Southdowns:

During the Southdowns total remodel project, the homeowner was the general contractor, and we were able to work with them to meet their granite needs while staying within their budget.  The homeowners initially selected a high-end granite. However, their budget would not cover the cost of the owners’ first choice.  By working with our designer, we were able to show them a granite slab that was less expensive, while also offering an increase in width from 2 cm to 3 cm.  The 3 cm granite achieved a look that added a feeling of weight which was needed for such a large open living area of 36’ x 24’. Also, the couple have two young boys, and their first granite choice was less functional (little finger prints!) for such an active family area.

Another suggestion of our design was to use the drops from the slab for our backsplash and window seal.  The homeowners were very pleased with this suggestion because it eliminated the need for tile backsplash cost and installation. This backsplash and window seal tied in beautifully with the countertops and island cooktop bar.
In the master bath, the 3 cm Golden Sunrise color granite enhances the beautiful color of the stained cypress cabinets in a subtle and elegant way. A granite shower seal and tub surround were chosen in place of tile. Such simple enhancements add that unique touch to any project.  See image name for shower seal and tub surround-name include for those images.
